Amber Daulton's Mistletoe in the City for Christmas

                                                                   Amazon - http://amzn.to/1pC6Tb9

Amber Daulton - Writing is the fruit to happiness.
Amber Daulton lives her life by that one belief even though she normally isn't so Zen.
Author of four novellas—Forever Winter, A Hero's HeartLightning over Bennett Ranch and Mistletoe in the City—she published her first book in 2012 and hopes to publish countless more in the future.
She lives in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina with her punk-rocker husband and their five crazy kitties. Writing takes up most of her time, aside from her day job in the retail industry. As a fan of contemporary, paranormal and historical novels alike, she can't get enough of feisty heroines and alpha heroes. Her mind is a wonderland of romance and adventure, laughter and awesome ways of kicking a guy when he's down. She probably wouldn't be too sane without her computer and notebooks. After all, what's a girl to do when there are people jabbering away in her head and it's hard to shut them up? Write! Nothing else works

Christmas Chat with Amber...

1)     What is your favorite thing about Christmas?
I love the decorations! Lights, garland, the tree and ornaments, the various Christmasy scents and food—everything!

2)     Do you have a special memory of the holidays you hold close to your heart?
My husband, then-boyfriend, asked me to marry him Christmas morning 2006. The tree was lit, presents scattered beneath and he knelt on one knee with a little box in his hand. It would have made for a great picture since he did it right in front of the tree but we were alone so, oh well. Still, it’s the best Christmas memory I have to date.

3)     What inspired you to write your Christmas Story?
I’m not sure what inspired me to write Mistletoe in the City. The idea just popped into my head one day and I set off to write it.

4)     For fun…If you could kiss anyone under the mistletoe…Who would it be?
Other than my husband, hmmm… that’s a toughy. I’ll go with Derek, the hero from Mistletoe in the City. He’s a sexy 22 year old with a tattoo and eyebrow ring. Yep, he’ll do just nicely. ;)

Fall in Love this Christmas with a Jennifer Conner Holiday Romance

These are just a few holiday romances...there's more from Jennifer to check out on her Amazon page!

Jennifer Conner is a best-selling Northwest author who has forty-five short stories, novellas and full length novels in print. She writes in Christmas Romance, Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, Historical Romance, and Erotica.
She has hit Amazon's top fifty authors ranking and her books have been #1 in sales.
Her novel Shot in the Dark was a finalist in the Emerald City Opener, Cleveland, and Toronto RWA contests.
Jennifer is an Associate Publisher for the indie traditional publisher, Books to Go Now who resides in the Seattle area. They pride themselves in helping new authors get their foot in the door with well-edited manuscripts, professional covers, and platforms uploads.
She lives in a hundred year old house that she grew up in. Her semi-small town holds an interesting mix of resident hillbillies, yuppies and Navy Seals. And of course Seattle, only a few miles away, is the birthplace of Starbucks so coffee is always on the check list. She blows glass beads with a blow torch, (which relieves a lot of stress and people don't bother you).

My Christmas Chat with Jennifer...
1)      What is your favorite thing about Christmas? I love everything about Christmas (a bit of a junkie). I love putting up all my decorations that were handed down from my mom and the tree ornaments my kids made in school. It’s all about the traditions and memories.
2)      Do you have a special memory of the holidays you hold close to your heart? I try and make new special memories every year.
3)      What inspired you to write your Christmas Story? Well… I have MANY Christmas stories. 18 or so (I think). My three for this year are In Love with Santa which I wove all the crazy stories that really happened to me in the 15 years I ran a catering business. Workers who slipped and broke their arms, grooms with guns under their tuxs, and even working for a murderer. He drowned his wife a week after we did the cater at their house! I also have, Ten Minutes for Christmas which is a New Adult and Christmas Romance which has Dog Tags for Christmas part of a Christmas series that revolves around… of course… dogs.
4)      For fun…If you could kiss anyone under the mistletoe…Who would it be? Well politically, I would have to say my husband. Non-politically… there are so many choices. Henry Cavill? Sam Heughan (Jamie from the TV version of Outlander) or maybe Colin O’Donoghue (Capt. Hook from Once Upon a Time) that is if it was a REALLY big sprig of mistletoe! Haha

A Christmas Chat with Elle Rush & her Christmas Romance - Candy Cane Kisses

All bakery-owner Lindsay Leeds wants for Christmas is for her former high-school crush Sheriff Keith “Bodey” Bodewell to quit playing games. The sheriff has been dancing around asking her out for months and Lindsay is tired of it. She’s a busy woman and he needs to step up or he’s going to lose his shot.

How can a successful business woman be so clueless when it comes to managing her heart? Bodey has dropped tons of hints that he’s interested, but Lindsay isn’t catching them. Just when the sheriff is running out of ideas on how he can convince her to be his for Christmas, Lindsay gives him a clue and the answer is pretty simple.

It’s going to take the jolly fat man to make this holiday romance happen.

Here's a sneak peek:
Lindsay didn’t join in the teasing. Instead, she sent him a death glare. “It was you,” she accused.
“Me, what?” He knew damn well what. Margaret called him at the department to give him a heads-up. For such a bright woman, Bodey could not figure out how Lindsay remained oblivious that the entire town was helping him woo her.
“You, you, you... Wine thief!” she shouted.
“I didn’t steal anything,” he protested.
“No, you bought it, snatching it off the shelf from under my nose.”
“You said it was good.”
“It was mine!”
She was a little more attached to her Moscato than he’d anticipated.

A sweet Christmas romance to warm your heart. I had the pleasure of working with Elle Rush on the Forever Christmas series. A story of four friends who pool their resources together to bid on the hundred year old tree farm in their small town of Glenville. In the midst of their new business adventure...love happens. Each story is a stand-alone but available as a complete series.

Had a sweet chat with Elle Rush about Christmas & her book :)
1)      What is your favorite thing about Christmas?
I’m from Winnipeg, Manitoba so snow is a must. I’ve done tropical Christmases – twice – and while they are neat to experience they lack the Christmas spirit I’m used to. I need Christmas lights on houses reflecting off white snow in the front yards, going caroling bundled up in seven layers of sweaters and scarves and ski jackets and ending with hot chocolate to thaw you out.
2)      Do you have a special memory of the holidays you hold close to your heart?
Unfortunately, like most people the fun stories I have about my family over the holidays would have people thinking we were all nuts. But I do treasure the year we had both sides of my family over for dinner. All my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins were herded downstairs to the only place that could seat seventeen people at once – the ping-pong table. It was loud and rowdy and delicious and wonderful.
3)      What inspired you to write your Christmas Story?
My family has always baked at Christmas. My mom taught me and my sister how to do it using her mother’s recipes. By the time we hit high school, we’d had begun recruiting our friends for our Christmas baking sessions. (One of us ended up with headless horsemen gingerbread men, the other with gingerbread men in G-strings. You can try to guess which daughter did which set. My mom wouldn’t let us hang either set from the tree. I wonder why?)  I digress. With all the baking we did, recipes we tried, and disasters we experienced, I wanted to write a story about a baker who loved baking as much as I did who fell in love at the most wonderful time of the year.
4)      For fun…If you could kiss anyone under the mistletoe…Who would it be?
I think I’d have a line of all my eligible Hollywood bachelor boyfriends – I don’t want to be selfish so I’d spread Christmas joy far and wide.

Keep in touch with my fellow author and fellow Canadian - Elle Rush

Betrayal...Lies...Loss...Truth...Secrets... Have I grabbed your attention?

OOBA! Out of the Box Awakening by Jennifer Theriot

I loved this series! Amazing love story. A must read series to awaken the magic of the season.

My OOBA Review
Jennifer captures your interest and introduces you to characters you fall in love with.
A wonderfully-written romance that makes you believe in fate.
Olivia has left her grown children to move to another city with her husband. They stay with Ash while finding a new home of their own. Ash has been a widow for a few years and struggles with day-to-day life and a troubled relationship with his sons.
Alan decides he wants a new woman.
An amazing love story begins of two people brought together by fate. Love has
no age-restrictions and Jennifer proves this.

Then came Regifted in the OOBA series...

My Regifted Review
A great love story has to have something significant…apart from others…Ms. Theriot delivers us another ‘Mature Sexy’ read in Regifted.
Olivia and Ash are back! Olivia must deal with the past, her ex-husband so she can have her happily-ever-after with Ash who has his own secrets. Can Olivia move forward with confidence to accept her new lifestyle? Can Ash keep those secrets hidden? Besides Olivia and Ash, there’s their blended family we all fell in love with in Ms. Theriot’s first in the series, Out of the Box Awakening. Each and everyone has their times and trials of heartaches and hardships to battle.
Regifted is filled with lies, truths, secrets and the greatest love story. The romance in this story is breathtaking. It is a love story that will evoke some of the most powerful emotions from readers. I feel honored to have read the second in this series. Ms. Theriot has captivated my heart once more with her characters and her writing style that drew me in and kept me flipping one page after the other. I was taken away in search of that happily-ever-after. Excited thinking about the next in the series!

To keep us 'in-love' with OOBA...Jennifer stepped inside the box and gave us the story of Todd...an OOBA character that you can't help but fall in love with...Toccato Obligatto

My Review of Toccata Obbligato
Jennifer Theriot steps inside the box and writes about Todd from the OOBA series. We discover how Todd serenades Kyra :)

OOBA!!! Ms. Theriot does it again! This book has been serenading me every time I open my kindle...I'm so happy it finally succeeded. I am never disappointed with a story by Jennifer Theriot.
This time we get to step inside the box and learn a little more about Todd...as if we could love him anymore!
Todd is such a unique and lovable character. A journey of true love from the first spark through Todd's determination to prove to Kyra she's captured his heart. Todd may be a little rough around the edges with a unique language all of his own but that only makes him real. He will definitely make you smile, laugh, cry and cheer for him.
This is a love story you won't want to miss. Bravo Ms. Theriot! I anticipate the next Out of the Box amazing creation! OOBA!!!

Angela's Christmas chat with Joanne :)

What is your favorite thing about Christmas?
The lights and trees, the way they make even the coldest of nights feel warm and cozy.

Do you have a special memory of the holidays you hold close to your heart?
 My Christmas Memory...
I love the holiday season, the lights and colors shimmer and shine everywhere you look. The smell of cinnamon, hot apple cider, a crackling fire, the fresh cut evergreen tree. It all brings back the memory of when I was a small child and our yearly hunt for our Christmas tree. It didn’t come in box or from parking lot vendor.
We would pile into the car and head out to my grandmother’s house. She lived out in the country, surrounded by evergreen trees and nature. We bundled up in layers upon layers of clothes, covered every part of our body, except our eyes and mouths, white puffs of breath slipped out from under our toasty scarves. The adults would grab the saws and we headed out for our trek up the mountain, through the three or more feet of pristine sparking snow to find our perfect tree. After a long debate on which tree was the best, it would be chopped down, tied with a rope and we would take turns hauling it back down the mountain. It was a day of hopes and dreams, frozen toes and noses, but I wouldn’t have traded a single moment for anything in the world.

What inspired you to write your Christmas Story?
This memory was my inspiration behind Forever Christmas. I hope it will bring back fond memories, or inspire new ones. Pick up the entire series, it is sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

For fun…If you could kiss anyone under the mistletoe…Who would it be?

Christmas Spotlight - Best Selling Author Sharon Kleve

Looking for a Christmas read? Look no further...Discover a great read with Sharon Kleve.
Annie Swan wants it all, a career and a boyfriend, but she doesn’t believe it’s possible to have both. Annie’s driven to become a nurse and she’s not letting one night of mind-blowing sex on a Ferris wheel change all that.

When Jack Ross sees something he wants he doesn’t stop until it’s his. Jack admires Annie’s dedication but he knows with a little bit of understanding, forgiveness, and love you can have it all.

Sharon Kleve was born and raised in Washington and currently lives on the Olympic Peninsula with her husband.
Sharon is a multi-published author of paranormal and contemporary romance. She loves romance. She loves reading romance, living romance, and especially loves writing about romance. She gets no greater feeling than watching her characters come alive in each other's arms. Most of all, she loves giving her characters the happily ever after they deserve—with a few bumps and bruises along the way.
One of her favorite things to do is picking up a new book and sinking into the story, immersing herself in the emotions between the characters. She hopes to inspire her readers the same way her favorite authors have inspired her.
When not writing, she can usually be found either curled up in her recliner with her cat and a good book, or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread or bagels.

Spotlight Interview with Sharon Kleve by Angela Ford

1)      What is your favorite thing about Christmas?
As a kid it was waking up and running out to see what Santa put under the Christmas tree. Now, it’s the scents, sights, and general excitement of the holidays. I don’t mind the hustle and bustle at all.
2)      Do you have a special memory of the holidays you hold close to your heart?
Yes. When I was really little my dad took me all by myself to the mall to buy me a special present. I wanted a monkey, but he said no. I can’t imagine why. I chose a huge Saint Bernard stuff dog. It’ was bigger than me and I could sit on it. I loved the time I got to spend with him alone.
3)      What inspired you to write your Christmas Stories?
Two other authors came up with an overall theme for a collection of Christmas stories. I just took a general idea and ran with it.
4)      For fun…If you could kiss anyone under the mistletoe…Who would it be?
My wonderful husband. I wouldn’t be writing if it wasn’t for Eric. He has supported me through every step of the writing process. Long hours, crankiness, and he’s my idea man.

Another heart-warming Christmas romance by Sharon Kleve
Story 2 in the best-selling series, Forever Christmas. The western Washington town of Glenville is threatened with the possible loss of their 100 year old Christmas tree farm to an outside corporation. Four friends join together to keep the tradition alive and create new opportunities with the rebirth of the Forever Christmas tree farm.

Adelaide Duval has been told how to live her life from a very early age. First by her mother and then by her jerk boyfriend Jason. Both leave her expectantly and now she’s starting over with a new home and a new business. A new romance never crosses her mind.

Roman Bennett leaves his old life behind in the big city and settles into the small town of Glenville. When he meets Adelaide, his wounded heart is healed with a Christmas Kiss.
